Tour to Ethnographical Museum

On the southern side of the Uzhgorod castle mountain there is one of the first Ukrainian open air museums located - Transcarpathian museum of folk architecture and life. In the 4 hectare of its territory there are dwellings of peasants (inhabitants of valleys and mountain regions: Gutsuls, Boyks, Lemks, Hungarians and Romanians), also some technical (water mill, mortar, smithy) and public constractions (church, tavern, school).
Ethnographical museum - is a collection of architectural pearls of ancient Transcarpathian village and samples of folk art, it is a miniature of Transcarpathia drowning in beautiful flowers and trees.
