Kiev Pechersk Lavra

The oldest and most esteemed Holy place in Ukraine, and one of Europe most famous repositories of Orthodox relics, which was built by Kiev monks back in 1051. An architectural and decoration complex and museum includes the caves, where you will see imperishable remains of the Saints, where pilgrims have been worshipped for hundred of years. The Greek word Lavra is used for big and populous monasteries. During excursion you will also visit the working Cathedrals and churches, museum, and will hear the history of Lavra.
